Fresh bread from our oven,
beer brewed on our soil

We bake sourdough loaves each morning, curate pantry staples from regional producers, and craft small-batch ales from grains grown within fifty miles. Every item on our shelves has a name, a place, and a reason to be there.

Regional Grocery Staples

Honey, preserves, olive oil, and specialty items from farms and producers across Illinois.

Three things we do, done well

01
The Bakery

Bread that takes its time

Our sourdough ferments for thirty-six hours. Our focaccia rises slowly in olive oil. We don't rush yeast, and we don't rush flavor. Every loaf carries the character of a process that can't be hurried.

  • 36-hour cold-fermented sourdough
  • Rosemary olive-oil focaccia, baked each morning
  • Seasonal pastries and flatbreads

02
The Pantry

Shelf-worthy staples, locally sourced

We stock what we'd keep in our own kitchen: raw honey from central Illinois apiaries, small-batch preserves, aged balsamic, house-made pasta, and seasonal produce from neighboring farms. If we wouldn't buy it, it doesn't sit on our shelf.

  • Honey, jams, and preserves from area producers
  • Olive oils, vinegars, and pantry essentials
  • Seasonal produce from nearby farms

The Brewery

Beer brewed where the grain grows

Our brewhouse sits in the back of the building, and the aroma drifts through the shop all day. We brew four core ales year-round and rotate seasonal batches using ingredients from farms we know by name. The taproom is open for visitors who want to taste the difference that locality makes.

  • Four rotating taps, always cold and on draft
  • Small-batch seasonal releases twice a year
  • Taproom visits welcome — no reservation needed

Built slow, kept honest

Floyd's Old Farm Brewery grew out of a simple conviction: food and drink should come from somewhere you can point to on a map. What started as a home brewing setup in a detached garage became a brewhouse, then a bakery corner, then a full pantry stocked with everything we'd want to find at our own table.

We're not a chain. We're not scaling to twelve locations. We're one building on Old Farm Road, and every loaf, every batch of beer, and every jar on the shelf is something we'd be proud to serve our neighbors. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, every single day.

36hr Sourdough Ferment

From grain to glass, right here

Our brewhouse is the heart of the building. You can watch the boil, smell the hops, and taste the difference that fresh, local ingredients make in every pour.

Small-Batch Process

Every batch is brewed in limited quantities so we can taste it, adjust it, and make sure it meets our standard before it reaches the tap.

Local Grain Sourcing

We partner with farms within fifty miles to source barley, wheat, and specialty grains — keeping the loop short and the flavor honest.

Taproom & Tasting

Come sit at the counter. Watch the taps, chat with the brewer, and try a flight that shows how each beer changes with the seasons.

Stop by — we're open

The bakery opens early, the brewery runs all day, and the pantry is stocked through the afternoon. Pull in, take a look around, and grab something worth bringing home.
